With OneClick, let users trigger this action directly from the deal view in Pipedrive.
Update the Pipedrive deal with a Note containing the link to the newly created folder, or confirming it already existed.
- Install OneClick in Pipedrive. It’s easy and free.
- Once done, the app will appear in Pipedrive’s left sidebar for deals, orgs, and persons.

1. Create a Make.com Scenario
- Check OneClick’s make.com scenario basics.
- Select Webhook as the trigger in your new make.com scenario, click here to read more about custom webhooks configuration.
- Select the Webhook trigger.
- Choose the Custom webhook option.
- Add a new webhook and give it a Name: “Google Drive Customer Folder”.
- Click save and copy your new webhook URL to the clipboard
- You’ll see the ‘loading’ button as it tries to receive data.
2. Make a new OneClick Connection
- Refer to this link for a full tutorial.
- Open any Pipedrive Deal
- Click on Settings in the Zimple OneClick application panel on the left.
- Click on Create new in the Connections tab
- Paste the Make.com scenario webhook URL from your clipboard in the Domain URL field.
- Enter “Create Google Drive Folder“ in the Button text field
- Optionally enter a description in the Description field under the Button behaviour section
- You can also Limit the Visibility of your new button. In this example, we will choose to show the button on the Person view only.
- Click Save changes and exit
- Test the webhook to confirm that the field data is being received in make.com
3. Set a Webhook Response
Back to Make.com, set the next step in the scenario: Webhook response status to 200.
4. Get Pipedrive deal
- Add a new module to Get a Deal from Pipedrive.
- Add or select your Pipedrive account.
- Choose “SelectIds” in the Deal ID field.
5. Search Google Drive folders
- Add another module to Search for Files/Folders in Google Drive to make sure you don’t duplicate a Customer’s Folder.
- Define the naming convention for the Google Drive customer Folder to ensure that it is unique and easily identifiable. You can use Pipedrive data to create a file name that includes the customer’s name, deal ID, or any other relevant information.
- In “Connection”, select or Add your Google Drive account.
- Choose “Enter manually” in the Select Method field
- Copy and paste the Folder ID where you would like the new Customer folder to live (The folder ID is the string of characters, typically 33, located after the “folders/” portion of the URL.)
- Select “Folders” in the Retrieve field, and Search within files/folder names option.
- Set the Query as the Organization name from Pipedrive in the previous step, and Search options to “Search for the exact term“.
6. Set a filter for duplicates
- Add a Router module and Set up a filter labelled “Only when found“.
- Set the Condition to equal or greater than 1 from the Google Drive Search in the previous step.
- Add an action to Create a Note in Pipedrive. Select your Pipedrive account and insert a Note Message like: “Folder not created. A folder for this Organisation already exists.” Map it to the Deal ID.
- Add another module to update the Organization in Pipedrive, select the Organization ID, and enter the URL with the Google Drive’s folder path followed by the folder’s string from the Search module.
7. Create a new Customer Folder
- Set up the Router’s second filter to: “No org folder found“.
- This one should meet the 0 condition from the Google Drive Search action.
- Add a Google Drive action to Create a Folder. Select your Google Drive account and choose the Drive and Folder location. Set the New Folder’s name to the Organization Name field.
- Add a Pipedrive Update an Organization action and map the Organization ID. Enter the URL with the Google Drive’s folder path followed by the folder’s string from the Search module.
- Add a Pipedrive Note to confirm the creation of the new Folder in the Note body, you can also insert the URL path. Link it to the Deal ID.
- Set a Variable as the last step on this scenario. Give it a “folderID” name, set its lifetime to “One Cycle“, and select the Value from the Folder ID value in the Google Drive Search action.
8. Test and start Clicking
Now you can create a Google Drive customer folder directly from the Deal view in Pipedrive by clicking the OneClick button!
Test the integration to make sure it is working correctly.
The customer folder will be automatically created in Google Drive and a note with the relevant information created in Pipedrive.
